I can Hear it. The sounds of blood and pain. I'm so tired, so tired of fighting.
I can hear the Daleks screaming in triumph. They've won.
We've lost.
And there is no one to save us.
Was I brought back for this? To watch my home perish while I stand helpless?
There is nothing I can do.
I see mothers clutching their children, howling in fear and desperation.
Nothing I can do.
Where has he gone? Now, when he's most needed? Now that Gallifrey is falling into the dust?
Our enemies vow they will erase us from the universe.
What's to become of us?
The Oncoming Storm. Where has he gone?
We're all alone. I'm all alone.
I'm so…scared.
Rassilon save us, I don't want to die.
A small dark eyed child clings to her mother. She looks up.
Her eyes are full of fire and tears.
I hear Tardis screams echoing across the burning sky.
Too little, too late.
Why is it ending this way?
We will die in this place, our home will be our grave.
The ground beneath my feet is burning.
There will be nothing, nothing left.
Nothing will be left to remember.
And without a sound
The planet fell.
I can hear the Daleks screaming in triumph. They've won.
We've lost.

Ode To Gallifrey
Past the starry endless plains of space,
Far from our very own Milky way.
Lies a planet with a burning face,
The planet of our Gallifrey.
Spirals melt into an oblivion,
With stars shooting across the skies.
Violets, reds and soft ceruleans,
Blaze together with such pride.
Fields go on, filled with trees,
Colours twinke with great awe.
The peace and calm cause all such ease,
Buildings stand from times of before.
This is the home of the Time Lords,
They dwell in Time and Space.
But they lost their lives in a Great Time War,
They burned like their planet's face.
Literature
Doctor Who?
He walks a lonely road today
And every day before
He is the wanderer,
The man without a home,
The lonely God.
Every day a new adventure
A new horizon to see.
Companions come, companions go
But they don't know his lonliness
But he moves on regardless.
The oncoming storm the Daleks shout,
But the Doctor doesn't care about that.
He is unafraid of them and clever,
He is witty and outsmarts us all;
But a Curse stops him being remembered.
Rose and Sarah both know him,
World's they've seen with you.
Here you are remembered,
Our friend but Doctor Who?
Literature
The Doctor
He stood alone
Watching the world
This was who he was;
Timeless defender
Of all he saw
And all he didn't see
And all he could never see again
Time stops
Lingering on the whithering
Rose.

This is from a Warrior Time Lord's perspective. She dies as the planet burns. No one is left alive to remember her. Just another of the valiant dead.
